Well team… we did it!
I have officially qualified for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games!!! 😊
The news will go public later today (so please act surprised when you hear it), but after qualifying three sleds last week and locking in those brakemen spots, I was selected — and as of now, I’ll be racing with Melissa Lotholz.

There are a lot of emotions swirling right now. I’m incredibly excited and grateful, but also heartbroken for some teammates who won’t be racing, or who will be named alternates. It’s truly a rollercoaster — but that’s sport.
So what’s next?
- Official announcement today
- Training in the ice house and gym
- Leaving January 31st (so soon!)
- Time in Cortina
- Racing begins February 12, though I won’t compete until the end on the 20th and 21st
It still doesn’t feel real. We were just given our Team Canada Lululemon kit, and it feels like only yesterday I was receiving it for Paris.
I hope you all know how much I appreciate you. Your support — physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially — has meant everything to me and made this possible. I’m so happy to be back in a team sport, and I love having you on my team.
And yes… of course I looked up the stat — I’ll become the 14th Canadian athlete to compete at both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games!

This news is still confidential until later today, but I wanted you to hear it first — and to remind you that you played a huge role in making this dream come true.
Next stop… Cortina!
